CCHS visitor Ben and friend Dougal discovered us at our Camberwell Market stall back in June. Ben casually mentioned he had a full MRI scan of his brain in STL format, thus automatically qualifying for an instant invitation (read begging) to visit us at CCHS, which they did last Tuesday.
Dinesh and Marc checked out the STL file, it’s incredibly detailed and something like 60MB in size.
The brain Ben brought in was printed on an “Up” printer, very nice quality. It’d be even better at 1:1 scale (Prusa? Cubex?). Anyone know whether they sell ‘brain’ coloured filament?? Laywoo-D3?
