CCHS
Tuesday – A quiet night.
I guess everyone was too tired from the Kickstarter School that happened on Monday because there were only about six of us at the space last night. Damien, Greg, Doug, Andy, BJ, Some Visitors and myself tinkered away a bit then spent the last 2 hours in a bit of an impromptu Laser Cutter workshop
Monday: First 3D printing night of spring
Lots of new faces and some old faces that haven’t been around in a while. Very busy and productive 3D printing night with the added bonus that it wasn’t too cold.
Saturday: Last one of August
Last saturday of the month and the last Saturday of winter. Melbourne decided to turn on the good weather for us a day early!
Thursday Night Hacking – Populating PCBs
Last thursday (29th August) Angus held an extra night for Circuits and PCBs, and while it was a quiet night, Angus and Trystan spent the time populating their respective PCBs. Angus worked on his nixie tube driver with the hot air station and solder paste while Trystan worked on some arm development clone boards.
